相傳十六世紀中葉，葡萄牙船員從海上遠眺臺灣，受瑰麗的自然景緻感動而高呼「Ilha Formosa（美麗之島）」，
這一聲驚嘆，讓「福爾摩沙」自此成為西方人稱呼臺灣的美名。
臺灣豐富的自然資源中，四季各自綻放的繁花，堪稱寶島春、夏、秋、冬得以披上鮮明彩衣的功臣：和煦的春季，
雪白的油桐花，為客家庄妝點了夢幻的五月雪；明艷的夏日，繡球花盛開淡雅的藍、紫、白、粉色花瓣，為亞熱帶
島國火熱的氛圍降了溫；颯爽的秋天，菊花帶著暖色調，揭開年末節慶的歡快序幕；寒涼的冬季，粉嫩的梅花，帶
著身為中華民國國花的傲骨，凜然盛放。
福爾摩沙四季花卉各自別緻，在傳統的賞花體驗中，幾乎無法觀賞到他們同框的景緻。本展應用數位技術與
5G通訊，策劃「創新型態數位賞花方案」，邀請體驗者與我們一起破除季節框架，透過選擇四季花朵並拋出，讓互動牆面同
時綻放四季繁花，不僅如此，體驗者更能與隱藏在花卉中「光和花的小精靈」嬉戲，經由揮動雙手以及指定手勢，
創造出光的路徑、觸動花苞美麗綻放。
“Ilha Formosa” Digital Immersive Flower Appreciating Interactive Experience with 5G Network
The name “Ilha Formosa,” meaning “beautiful island,” was famously exclaimed by Portuguese sailors in the 16th century,
enchanted by Taiwan’s breathtaking scenery. This exhibition captures the spirit of that moment, bringing to life the island’s
extraordinary natural wonders.
Seasonal blossoms are one of Taiwan’s many magnificent natural treasures. They cover the island with brilliant hues
throughout the year, resulting in some of the most breathtaking scenes.In the gentle spring,tung blossoms fall upon Hakka
villages like dreamy “May Snow.” During the radiant summer, hydrangeas bloom in soft shades of pink, white, purple, and
blue, providing a refreshing contrast to the subtropical heat. As autumn arrives, warm-hued chrysanthemums greet the
brisk air and the joyous atmosphere of year-end. Finally, Taiwan’s national flower, the delicate and resilient plum blossom,
blooms magnificently during the chilly winter months.
While traditional flower viewing confines us to the specific seasons, this exhibition transcends these boundaries with an
“innovative digital flower viewing experience” powered by cutting-edge digital technologies and 5G networking. By
selecting and tossing seasonal flowers, you can witness the simultaneous bloom of all four seasons on the interactive wall.
Additionally, you will be able to play with the “little fairies of light and flowers” hiding in the digital petals using hand
gestures and movements, prompting flower buds to bloom in captivating displays and creating enchanting paths of light.
Step into this immersive journey and enjoy the beauty of Taiwan’s flowers like never before.
